The Charity Organization of Women and Children (COWC) has announced the launch of a new fundraising campaign titled “Educate a Girl, Empower a Nation.” The initiative aims to raise US$10,000 to provide school fees, essential supplies, and safe learning environments for girls across Afghanistan.

Since its founding in 2013, COWC has worked tirelessly to restore dignity, resilience, and opportunity for women, youth, and families affected by conflict and poverty. With education at the heart of its mission, the organization believes empowering girls through learning is the most sustainable path toward peace and progress.

“Every Afghan girl deserves the chance to learn, dream, and contribute to her community,” said a COWC spokesperson. “This campaign is about turning that belief into reality — one student at a time.”

Supporters can contribute directly through COWC’s donation platform, where even small amounts make a significant difference. For example, a $30 donation covers a child’s school fees and materials for one month, while a $360 donation supports a girl’s education for an entire year.

COWC collaborates with both local and international donors, NGOs, and institutions to maximize its impact. Funds from this campaign will not only cover education costs but also support community programs that address food security, livelihoods, and women’s empowerment.
